Lux Research seeks sales interns to help develop and further penetrate large global businesses. Interns, typically undergraduate or MBA students work on a project basis typically part-time during a semester or full-time during the summer months. In return for their participation interns receive a hands-on education in emerging technology and the opportunity to work with some of the leading minds in the field of emerging technology. Lux has widely cited by press outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, The New York Times, and CNBC. Typical candidates will be undergraduates with coursework in areas including technology management, finance, natural sciences, or engineering. Advanced candidates will include MBA students with a specific interest in sales or marketing.
Responsibilities:
Help identify leading executives in Fortune 100 companies that are working in the field of emerging technology.
Develop company profiles of these corporations.
Collaborate with a team of senior researchers and emerging technology visionaries to develop analyses of how emerging technology will impact businesses and the economy.
Requirements:
Intellectual curiosity about emerging technology and its impact on business, economies, and society.
Effective written and spoken communication skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
A well-organized, detail-oriented approach to work.
Self-motivation and a commitment to doing things right for its own sake.
