Hire Heroes USA helps link our Nation’s returning Veterans to employment opportunities that match their interests and skills. We are a non-profit program and provide our career placement services at no charge. We’re here to help returning Veterans succeed in achieving their career goals, as well as help make their transition back to civilian life a smooth one. If you are a Veteran with any level of disability as determined by the VA, from any branch of the military who is returning from Operation Enduring Freedom or Operation Iraqi Freedom, Hire Heroes USA is here for you.
To develop your profile, please click “Register Now,” fill out all information on ALL PAGES and submit a current resume. You are not fully registered unless all pages of the registration form are filled out completely and a resume is uploaded.
Do you need a resume? If you need to create a new resume, feel free to download a resume template and use it as a guide. Here is a link to find the template: SamplelResumeTemplate.doc Just click the link, download the word document to your computer, fill in the blanks with your personal experience and information, and save it in your documents. Please ensure you include your Military experience, major accomplishments, any experience with high-tech equipment, and leadership billets in your resume. Then it will be ready for use in your career search.
Once you have completed all of the above steps, a representative from Hire Heroes USA will contact you within 5 -7 business days to discuss your background, career interests, and how Hire Heroes Program works. It’s that simple.
This process is a dual partnership between the Veteran-run staff of HHUSA and yourself, as well as the partnership with our Veteran supportive corporations. Communication is an EXTREMELY important determinant of our success in achieving HHUSA's mission of creating the best possible employment opportunities for you. You will need to communicate back to the Hire Heroes USA staff in a timely manner (within 48 hours of an attempt to contact you) to ensure success, and we agree to do the same.
